Biography
Hi there 👋, I am Yang Yang (杨扬). I am broadly interested in probabilistic machine learning and generative models.
Previously, I obtained my Master’s degree (cum laude) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) 🇳🇱. I completed my Master’s thesis on probabilistic multi-dimensional classification in the UAI group at TU/e under the supervision of Cassio de Campos and Vu-Linh Nguyen. I also worked on structure learning of probabilistic circuits during my Master’s studies.
Before coming to Europe, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology at Nankai University 🇨🇳.

- 🎉 Our work on Probabilistic Multi-Dimensional Classification has been accepted to UAI 2023. This is joint work with Vu-Linh Nguyen and Cassio de Campos.

- 🎉 Our work on Bayesian Structure Scores for Probabilistic Circuits has been accepted to AISTATS 2023. This is joint work with Robert Peharz and Gennaro Gala.
